Just thought I'd do a quick update since as the heading says, I am bored and need something to do other than clean the office. I am so sick of TV with all the politics and hurricane coverage. I know who I'm voting for so I've lost interest in the political nastiness and now that Gary and Jen are safely out of the Caribbean, I don't need or want to hear constant weather reports and hurricane updates. One weather news flash though - we will be down to only double digit temperatures tomorrow. Our high is supposed to be 99 degrees. Fall really is on its way. It's really nice outside right now. I've been out walking my yard and street looking for a little cat I'm trying to entice to live here. I think it's homeless as it is very skinny and very skittish when I try to get too close. I've been putting food out and it has been over to eat the last couple of days. It even let me briefly pet it last night. No such luck though tonight. I haven't seen him/her yet. (We haven't figured out which it is) Putt and Chip know there's an intruder lurking but since they are both 100% inside cats, there haven't been any nose to nose meetings except once with the front door between them. Lots of hissing and howling from Chip going on.
That's it for tonight. Time to take one more look outside.
