Hope everyone has had a great three day weekend. I've been wanting to do this for sometime and now that I am not working, I have time!!! For those of you we talk to all the time, you'll have heard this stuff before. For those of you we don't talk to very much, it may be new stuff. For those of you that don't really care...oh well! You can't just delete and forget about it.
We've had lots of fun lately. In April, we drove to Utah to see Jen graduate from BYU and it just happened to be when the Jazz were playing Houston, at home and in the 1st round of the playoffs. We managed to get to graduation and then back up to the arena in time for the game. Gary took us to the VIP dinner before the game and we had a great time getting reacquainted with Frank Layton who is our favorite Jazz coach of all time. The game was wild and very loud and unfortunately the Jazz lost but we had an awesome time. The next morning found us back at BYU and we watched Jen walk with her individual college. We are very proud of her accomplishments!
I managed to make it to another Jazz playoff game. This time in LA. Gary was able to get us really great tickets through the Jazz but unfortunately again, they lost. So sad since they were in it till the end. Bad officiating will beat great offense and defense any day as we saw that night.
I quit my job - YEAH!!!! - about the middle of April. I am so glad to be outta there. It's been a mass exodus since then with only 3 of the 7 original people still there. Not a healthy or happy place to spend any time at. If the right job comes along, I may go back back but for now, I am happily hanging out at home with Putt and Chip who are great company.
Not much new with Riley. He's still in HB/NPB during the week and here in the desert on the weekends.
